Aurorae at Bennelong Bar – Vivid Sydney

Channeling the spectacular lights of Vivid Sydney, Aurorae at Bennelong Bar is the ultimate destination to experience the Sydney Opera House lighting of the sails from within, as you snack, drink, take in the views, and listen to live music by Australia’s most talented jazz musicians. Presented as part of this year’s Vivid Food program.

On the upper level of the restaurant, in prime position for the Harbour Bridge and Opera House glowing lights, Aurorae at Bennelong Bar will be serving two iconic snacks by Executive Chef Peter Gilmore paired with a bespoke Aurorae cocktail created by the Bennelong Bar team, only available during Vivid Sydney for $55 per person. 

On Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights from 8pm to 11pm, musical theatre legend and pianist Max Lambert and the sublime vocalist Nicky Crayson will light up the Bennelong Bar for Aurorae, as they perform the Great American Songbook with special guests.   

The Aurorae experience will sit alongside Bennelong’s signature Bar menu including Sydney Rock oysters and prawn toast with fermented chilli aioli. For those joining after a Vivid LIVE show (Sydney Opera House’s annual contemporary music festival), end your evening on a decadent note with Chef Gilmore’s Chocolate Crackle or an Australian cheese plate, on our late-night Bar menu available from 9.30pm.
